He has worked all over the globe including Japan, India, Peru, Europe & China, and his work has screened at Sundance, SXSW, Telluride, AFI Docs and Palm Springs film festivals. His commercial client list includes Lexus, Nikon, General Motors, Riot Games and Microsoft.
Chad remains current on the latest trends in the science of motion picture capture, while honing his aesthetic sensibilities and passion for visual storytelling.

Chad’s first film, Father the Flame, received honorable mention by the American Cinematographer magazine at the 2019 Salem Film Festival documentary competition. The editor in chief and publisher, Stephen Pizzello gave high praise to the visuals of the film, dubbing it the “The 2001 A Space Odyssey of pipe making documentaries.”

Going fully virtual production for the @generalmotors 2022 CES keynote, introducing the Silverado EV. With LED floor, ceiling, and walls powered by Unreal, it became as simple as place vehicle, push button, change locations.

Showcasing the interior of the @GMC Denali Ultimate 2022 with @arnettwill. I could listen to that gravelly voice all day. And even though I hadn’t yet discovered the @smartless podcast when we filmed this, I’m glad he took the opportunity to plug it in this project because it’s both informative and hilarious.

Arcane: Bridging the Rift - Part 1 of 5 of a documentary series I recently had the pleasure of shooting and directing for @RiotGames. The series explores the unlikely story of bringing the League of Legends video game adaptation, Arcane, from just a dream to Netflix’s highest rated show of all time.
This one was a rare pleasure in that we got to peak behind the curtain at artists at the top of their field and absolutely in love with their craft. Neither the Paris-based animation studio, Fortiche, nor LA-based producer, Riot Games, had made content much longer than a few minute music videos, but they trusted each other and never gave up. I could tell right away that this show was going to break new ground in the world of animation, and I’m grateful to be able to tell their inspiring story.
The documentary series will be released in 5 parts every Thursday on YouTube. You can see the first episode now (link in bio).
